The Area

Shaldon:

Water front village nestling along the banks of the River Teign in South Devon. Unforgetable for its Georgian period charm with alleyways and pretty thatched cottages, tiny unusual shops, pubs, beach-side cafes and slipways leading down to the water.

Shaldon is an ideal central location for visiting neighboring towns and villages. The Cathedral City of Exeter is a short drive away and an excellent place to visit for it's shops and wealth of history. The market town of Newton Abbot is nearby too as are the rolling hills of Dartmoor where there are some pleasant walks or why not take a ramble along the South West coast path exploring the countryside estuary and the wildlife of the sea.

Teignmouth & Dawlish

Dawlish and Teignmouth, two wonderful locations by the sea. Both towns appeal to families and couples alike.

Devon is what family memories are made of – starting with endless miles of clean blue flag beaches, sheltered bays and sandy expanses, rock pool discoveries and officially the best sand in the UK for building sandcastles
